TRANSLATING AND THE COMPUTER
Thank you for joining this community. Aslib is proud of its unique atmosphere of collaboration, professional exchange and pragmatism, which has developed over the conference series of "Translating and the Computer". Each November, for more than thirty years, language professionals brainstorm new ideas and gain from the solid experience of their peers. Issues of both theoretical research and the latest product developments are dealt with from the practitioners' point of view. Areas examined include:
- language resources exchange
- tools technologies and standards
- web based collaboration models
- translation process control
Since 1978, the Aslib Conference has attracted:
- large multinational institutions, such as the European Commission and United Nations
- translation agencies across the world
- professional translators
- tools and technology developers
- translation and localisation researchers
Past Conference proceedings are now available at special sales prices: http://www.aslib.com/conferences/proceedings.html
